This unit will prepare students with an understanding of the philosophy and practice of qualitative research. Students will explore and critique assumptions and techniques associated with different qualitative research methodologies applicable to research in public health. This includes addressing different paradigms of public health research, design issues, ethical considerations, and qualitative methods of inquiry and data analysis techniques.
